Hi Viking Friends,
April club will be hosted by Joyce Golemon in the afternoon and Kay Patrick for evening club. No 5D mini-class for April.
There will be two more blocks added to your collection for the machine cover (scroll down for supply lists).
Joyce is bringing some samples of completed machine covers from her Janome club ladies. I hear they are great examples of fun creativity !!
Afternoon Club – 1pm – 3pm
Evening Club – 4:30pm – 6:30pm
Don’t forget to bring your show and tell !!
Crinkled Fabric Block Supplies:
· 24” x 24” muslin square
· Rubber bands
· Lightweight fusible interfacing
Crazy Quilt Block Supplies:
· Ruler - 6 x 12
· Small Cutting Mat
· Thread to match muslin
· Decorative thread
· Rotary cutter
· Muslin scraps - we can use some of the odd ball pieces we have from cutting out the previous blocks. You’ll need enough scraps to cover a 12 x 12" block - we will be using various sizes and shapes of muslin
· Sewing machine - no embroidery unit is necessary
· Basic sewing supplies
· 12 x 12 muslin block - this will be used as the foundation piece for the block
I’m in Williamsburg right now --- having a good trip so far regardless of some really stormy days. Thanks to Joyce Goleman for donating her time and effort to make April afternoon club happen and thanks to Kay for flying solo this month !!
